Joyce first found freedom in the truth of God’s word. Her found freedom ignited a fire to help others find the same.

God’s word and a relationship with Jesus awakened Joyce to move from the pew to the people in some of the darkest places in her city. Her ministry, IAM Freedom Girl, has a mission and purpose in consistency in love to let women in the sex industry know that they are seen, loved, and valued (IAMFreedomgirl.com). 

Joyce delivers messages that come from personally lived out experiences. She has walked through divorce, infertility, childhood trauma and most recently she walked with her husband through his fierce fight with cancer. In January 2019, Joyce ushered her husband of almost 30 years, Ronn, into the arms of Jesus and to his eternal home.

Joyce currently teaches for the women’s ministry at Grace Family Church (gfconline.com). Her Bible teaching tenure ranges from Community Bible Study, to conferences, and retreats. Joyce’s written work and testimony are published in both “Make Your Moments Count” and “You Are Priceless”. 

When Joyce is not speaking, writing, or ministering in her city, she enjoys spending time with her adult twins – Grant and Sydney. She can also be found serving in her church, running with her “Iron Sharpeners”, getting lost in a good book, and hanging with her girlfriends.
